HISTORICAL NOTE:

The LaGrange Chapter of American Business Women's Association (ABWA) was charted in 1988 with Angie Douglass, president, Diane Kuehl, vice-president, Deborah Barnes, secretary and Cherie Hull, treasurer. The association's mission was "to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition." The Chapter disbanded in 1994.

SCOPE AND CONTENT:

The collection consists of minutes and membership lists for the period 1990-1994.
