Her husband, O.F. Nixon, Jr., was president of Industrial Suppliers, Inc. of LaGrange, Georgia. Mrs. Nixon was a member of and organist at First United Methodist Church and a member of the American Guild of Organists. She was one of the founders of the LaGrange Mutual Concert Association.SCOPE AND CONTENT:The collection contains the minute book of the Lucy Lanier Nixon Foundation, Inc., chartered on October 14, 1950, as an organization for religious, charitable and education purposes.
