E.T. Winn served as Clerk of Court in Troup County from 1887 to 1896. These personal papers were found when the court records were cataloged at Troup County Archives between 1985 and 1987.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

Nine items of correspondence relate mostly to politics. Winn's acquaintances solicited his advice and support on local and national issues and offered opinions on his political career.
