The club holds competitions and frequently displays arrangements made by members. The club also took part in various beautification and celebratory activities. Of these were the Bicentennial Celebration in 1976 and a beautification project for the Confederate Veterans statue. The club also took part in a project with the LaGrange City School System for the celebration of Arbor Day and the 1985 Tour of Homes in cooperation with the Holly Garden Club.SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE This collection is composed of two scrapbooks. Both scrapbooks contain photographs and newspaper articles. Both are fairly well documented as to who appears in these photographs and articles. Scrapbook one also contains an Ivy Garden Club Brochure, a flower show tri-color award ribbon, a first place blue ribbon, and a yearbook from 1976-1977. The yearbook contains a list of all the members for that year, programs they took part in, and club by laws.
