"Bart" Brand (b. 6-4-1929; d.10-10-05), son of Tom and Winnie Wood Brand, was born in Troup County. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a Free & Accepted Mason and a retiree from Callaway Mills Company. His wife is the former Loette Crenshaw.SCOPE AND CONTENT:The collection consists of memorabilia associated with Brand's military service in Korea. Included are his dog tags and various badges, patches and insignias. The collection contains a badge of the 1st Calvary Division, and insignias for the 14th Armored Cavalry Regiment (Suivez Moi) and the 7th Cavalry Regiment (Gary Owen).
