Haley Merciers, Administrative Assistant
Haley Merciers is a native of Heard County, Georgia. She earned a B.A. in History from Georgia Southern University. She also holds a Master of History and a Graduate Certificate in Public History from Georgia Southern University. While completing her master’s degree, she served as a Graduate Assistant at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force in Pooler, GA, where she processed collections containing World War II documents and artifacts and assisted patrons in the research library. As part of her degree program, she also completed an internship with the Georgia Historical Society. As Administrative Assistant, Haley works to see that the daily activities of the Archives run smoothly. She resides in Troup County with her husband, Dillon, and three dogs, Roscoe, Rebel, and Raven.
