LaGrange Memorial Library, 115 Alford Street, on Tuesday, November 15 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

No Remorse explores the 1948 murder of farmhand William Turner in Coweta County and the role played by prominent businessman John Wallace. Moore will talk about the murder and Wallace. She has several artifacts owned by Wallace including his Bible, pocket watch, tie and pistol. At the time of the murder and the trial, the LaGrange Daily News reported that Wallace had a real life Jekyll and Hyde personality since he had both a reputation for being generous and having a demonic temper. Wallace was sentenced to death based on the testimony of two black men. He was one of the richest men to be executed in Georgia.
The program lasts from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Mrs. Moore will speak at 5:30. Books will be available for purchase.
